Why Bridge Builders is here: 

More and more children are growing up with little or no knowledge of the Bible, Christian values and traditions.

The Bridge Builders team believes that all children should have the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith and to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Large numbers of children are leaving the church every year because they find it boring and irrelevant

The Bridge Builders team believes that if churches are to stem the tide we must share our best resources and work together to demonstrate the love of God which we have experienced and want to share with the next generation.

An increasing number of children are growing up surrounded by broken relationships and are unsure how to cope with their own raw emotions

The Bridge Builders team believes that we have a responsibility to help vulnerable children to discover who they can trust and how to build lasting relationships thereby offering them and their families hope for the future.


Jesus welcomed children. He valued and respected them and encouraged them and their families to play their part in the life of the community.

The Bridge Builders team believes that at the centre of each community there should be a place where children and their families can feel confident that they will be welcomed, valued and respected. A place where they will experience the love of God and have the opportunity to be…..belong…..become……
